I hadn’t been to Shogun in probably 10 years, since they moved to their current location. We went last night and it was the best overall dining experience I’ve had in a long time. Everyone was so friendly. I went to the restroom and every employee I passed smiled and said hello. The manager (owner?) visited our table to check on us. Later I saw him with a broom in hand, smiling as he swept debris off the floor, and he sang happy birthday to someone while banging the drum. The restaurant was clean, our food was good, and our chef was great. As someone who has worked in restaurants off and on over the years, I was very impressed.
